AVAILABLE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Adoptions Coordinator ~ This position will require a dedicated, detail-oriented person that can review adoption applications to make sure they meet our requirements, speak with potential adopters and their references via telephone (part of the "screening" process prior to finalizing an adoption) and potentially doing home visits to make sure the potential adopter's environment is suited to the pet's needs and/or requirements for the best possible health and safety!  Good written/oral communication skills are a must!

Special Events Coordinator ~ This position will require a real "go getter" person that we can rely on when something has to get done and it doesn't seem there's any way to make it happen in the amount of time we have!  They need to be motivational and upbeat, and into getting everyone and everything organized, in the right place at the right times, and getting sponsors and volunteers pumped about getting involved! If you think you fit this description, let us know!  We'd love to have you on board!

Marketing / Advertising Coordinator ~ This position will be best filled by a seasoned marketing or advertising professional looking to volunteer their time and skills into a worthy cause, outside of the "daily grind" in their everyday job!  To this point, all of Precious Paws Rescue's advertising has been via our website, Petfinder.com, links from our affiliates' sites, News14 and word of mouth from happy adopters referring their friends!  We're growing fast, and believe that we can further raise awareness of our organization and community involvement in our programs with additional advertising and marketing in other media venues!  If you have skills in either of these areas, we're looking for you!  We'd love to have you on board!

Personnel & Adoption Events Manager ~ This volunteer would be responsible for looking into available community events that the rescue might wish to participate in or partner with, as well as coordinating volunteer personnel to staff the booth or tent at such events.  This person would also be responsible for gathering together any necessary materials, adoption gift packs, or other items needed at such events and arranging their procurement and transport to the event, as well as distribution of items at the event.  If you're a "people person" with good organizational skills, this might be the spot for you!

Foster Program Coordinator ~  This position will be best filled by a seasoned marketing or advertising professional looking to volunteer their time and skills into a worthy cause, outside of the "daily grind" in their everyday job!  To this point, all of Precious Paws Rescue's advertising has been via our website, Petfinder.com, links from our affiliates' sites, News14 and word of mouth from happy adopters referring their friends!  We're growing fast, and believe that we can further raise awareness of our organization and community involvement in our programs with additional advertising and marketing in other media venues!  If you have skills in either of these areas, we're looking for you!  We'd love to have you on board!

Transport Coordinator ~ This volunteer would take responsibility of coordinating volunteer transports for rescued pets either to/from rescue, to foster homes, to veterinary appointments or grooming appointments, or to their forever home!  Interstate transports are required occasionally, in which case the Transport Coordinator would work in tandem with volunteers from other rescues across the state(s) to get the pet to it's destination safely!
